Red Lentil Veggie Dal

A mild red lentil dal for babies, ideal for preloaded spoons, rice, or soft toast fingers.

Ingredients

  • 100g red lentils, rinsed
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1/2 tsp mild curry powder
  • 300ml water
  • 1 tbsp coconut milk

Instructions

  1. Add lentils, carrot, spice, and water to a pan.
  2. Simmer until lentils collapse and carrot is soft.
  3. Stir in coconut milk.
  4. Mash or loosen with water to the right texture.
  5. Cool before serving.
